  • Clay Babcock

    CEO & PRESIDENT

    Clay began his career in employee benefits in 1982 as a Regional Sales Representative and worked his way to Regional Manager, where he achieved recognition for success. In 1995, Clay started his employee benefits consulting career and earned a reputation as a top professional in the state of Louisiana. With formal underwriting training and data analysis at the foundation of his experience, Clay has excelled in the industry. Since beginning his consulting career, he has built a team of professionals that is second to none.​​

    With over 40 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, Clay’s success is evident in his ability to continuously impress clients with his knowledge, underwriting capabilities, and guidance. Working with clients and prospects to create a benefits strategy for the future and developing a plan to accomplish that strategy in a cost-effective manner sets him apart. Communication with corporate management and/or benefits committees plays a key role in Clay’s record of success in managing an employer’s benefits program.

    Throughout his consulting career, Clay has guided his team with passion, directness, and integrity leading to long-term relationships providing clients with stability and trust. Client focus within the organization is a top goal and has been fostered from the beginning. Our “family” includes our team, our clients, and the vendors we place with those clients.​​

    Clay has two adult children and resides in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area with his wife of 36 years.

  • Parker Babcock

    BENEFITS CONSULTANT

    Parker joined Babcock Consulting Group in 2017 as an Employee Benefits Consultant. After years of training in employee benefits underwriting, Parker has excelled in negotiating costs and contracts from a position of data analytics and underwriting negotiation as opposed to commonplace spreadsheet negotiation.

    Parker specializes in benefits consulting for fully insured and self-funded group health plans as well as all ancillary group employee benefits such as Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and Worksite Insurance.

    Considered a “chip off the old block” when it comes to his approach to employee benefits consulting, Parker is striving to be the very best in the industry and is constantly seeking education which is necessary in an industry with laws and regulations continuously evolving. 

    Parker is proud to work for a tight-knit, family-oriented company. With support from a top-rated BCG team, Parker is able to deliver the highest level of service to his clients, who span across the Gulf Coast region.  

    Parker enjoys spending time with his wife and child, playing golf, personal investing, and traveling. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Honors Program from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics and a Minor in Philosophy. Parker also assumed several leadership roles at Spring Hill College, one of which was President of his fraternity. From a very young age, Parker had a strong interest in business, sales, and entrepreneurship. That interest has evolved into a professional career with Babcock Consulting Group.
